Universal's range of Commercial Vehicle Body Building Sections is amongst the most comprehensive in Europe. Many items are normally available ex-stock, while special lengths can be made to order. Channel profile maximum depth 100mm, maximum thickness 5mm, maximum width 450mm. Finishes - Pre-galvanised, Self Colour, HRPO, Stainless Steel, painted and Post Galvanised.
Special sizes of Plain Channels
These can be made to order (minimum 5 tonnes), maximum base 200mm, maximum leg 75mm and maximum thickness 5mm. Special lipped Channels can also be made within the same size limitations. Other special non-regular profiles can be made to order by special arrangment. Your enquiries are welcome. All section tolerances conform to BS EN 10162 (2003) 'Specification for Cold Roll Formed Steel Sections'. The physical properties are calculated in accordance with BS 5950 Part 5 (1998).
All self-colour steels conform to BS 1449 Part 1 (1991) and BS EN 10025 (1993).
All Pre-galvanised steels conform to BS EN 10346 (2009)
